Iron Rod Medallion

The

Iron Rod Medallion

is a new award offered by the

Utah National Parks Council

beginning this summer (2017).

It can be earned completing the following requirements:

1. What does the Iron Rod represent in Lehi's Dream? (1 Nephi 11:25)

2. Discuss with your parent or leader what it means to "Hold Fast unto it". (1 Nephi 15:24)

3. How can you help your friends or family members maintain a hold on the Iron Rod?

4. Describe what happened to those who let go of the Iron Rod.

5. Write a goal that will help you Hold to the Rod and avoid the fiery darts of the adversary.

Once completed, the scout and a leader must sign the completed worksheet. Then the award may be purchased from the camp trading post.
